WASHADEMOAK CREEK leads from the main channel of the Saint John northeastward into Washademoak Lake. The creek widens slightly at the intersection of Colwells Creek by Hog Island at the mouth of the lake. A classic farmhouse commands the southern shore, and a couple of boats are moored in front.

Approaches. At Long Island, take the eastern channel to green spar D1 at Washademoak Creek. Notice the stunning farm on the east bank and the small cattle barge they have to move cows to pasture on the islands. Keep the spar to port and follow Washademoak Creek to the intersection with Colwells Creek.
