BEYOND Perry Point, at the northeastern extremity of Kennebecasis Bay, the depths of the bay give way to the broad shallows of the Hampton Marsh. The Kennebecasis River winds through the shallows, with a very narrow buoyed channel and charted depths of 6 feet or greater, but it is subject to shifting bars and not recommended for cruising boats.
