At the west end of the channel, just off Grand Bay, the northwest shore of Kennebecasis Island bulges to the north and forms a broad bight, making a beautiful, though somewhat exposed, anchorage. Grazing cows might moo you to sleep.

Approaches. From Grand Bay to the west, pass to either side of Man of War Rock, marked by a black-red-black isolated danger spar. Deeper water lies to the north. Run in to the shore of Kennebecasis Island toward the bight above the word Kennebecasis on the chart.

Anchorages, Moorings. Note the extent of the shoal area by the shore and anchor in a comfortable depth.
