NEAR the southern end of Great Beach, south of Point Isabella, is a little cove between rocky headlands with a tiny beach of its own. There is room for one boat to lie here in relative privacy, with good protection from prevailing winds.

Approaches. There are no dangers. Head straight into the cove.

Anchorages, Moorings. Anchor in 10 to 11 feet at low, just inside the headlands. The bottom is mud but there is also some kelp.
