EASTERN HARBOR, between Moose Neck and Cape Split, is one of the best harbors between Schoodic Point and Head Harbor Island and one of the easiest to enter. It can be bouncy in a strong southwesterly, but it offers excellent protection in every other direction. The harbor entrance frames the beautiful view of the bright-green, rounded forms of Ladle Ledges. The small fishing community of South Addison has considerable atmosphere but not much to offer in the way of facilities.
