THE LITTLE COVE at the northern tip of Greens Island, just opposite Old Harbor, is unnamed on the chart, but locally it is called Reindeer Cove. This is the base of the Atlantic Challenge, an international experiment in learning and cooperation. The Challenge's reproduction French gigs may be in the cove, and a yurt or a teepee may be ashore.
