especially in the protected waterways that make Penobscot Bay such an interesting place to cruise.

Sailing through the Fox Island Thoroughfare here under jib and jigger, I took a few photos as the boat sailed itself. I've just passed the small and now very quiet village of North Haven. The Fox Island Thoroughfare is quite wide with Vinalhaven Island to the south(eft) and North Haven to the north(right).

It can get alittle crowded in season but of course I had it to myself in late October.
