Perrys Creek. Mon, 03 September 2007 20:05
We finally made our way there this season over Labor Day weekend. I've heard from more than one person, there seemed to be more boats on the coast of Maine this year. I saw perhaps a dozen boats anchored in outer Perrys Creek. I'm told some of the traffic may have been due to large cruising groups.

We borrowed a hurricane mooring for the night in the creek.

It certainly is still one of our favorites close to home. The hiking is wonderful and the creek is more of an inland lake at high tide. At low, it get's very narrow. Anyone else see more boats on the coast of Maine this season?
