We live on the Union River where it opens into Union River Bay (2 mi. south of Ellsworth Harbor) and enjoy exploring that area by kayak. At 5 knots with an outboard running though, I'd prefer to not make the 5 mile trip down the river, and through the shoal parts of the bay before setting sail near Patton Bay. That will be a good back-up plan if Surry doesn't work though. Thanks, Nate [Report message to a moderator]
