What's the best dinghy for the Maine Coast?

That's easy. Designed and often built in Maine, it's Joels Whites Nutshell Pram. Here are two on friends boats in this raft up in Winter Harbor. I took the picture from my Nutshell, the oldest and most beat up. Do you have a better design?
These are the larger 9'6" design all with sailing rigs and two rowing stations for hauling enormous loads. Stiff as can be, kids can't tip them over even under sail in a sea and heavy wind. With their vee shaped bow, the are easy to row if not overloaded and maybe best of all, prams tow like the dickens behind a sailboat never burying their bow or veering off. If they threaten the mothership on the coast in a following sea. tie more line on and let them take care of themselves, they do.
Of course we drag it up on rocks, it does battle at the local dinghy dock, it really takes a beating.
My only complaint after over ten years of use, hauling 4 now full sized people and a weeks provisions etc. etc., it's starting to become a chore to get out to the boat. I never thought we would outgrow this boat.
Any ideas for the second best Maine coast dinghy for a growing family? If it's rubber, what about an RIB?
