SEAWAY BOATS Tue, 31 December 2002 18:01 Go to previous message
Hi.
I recently bought a 1986 Seaway 20' center console boat that was built in Maine. This is a great boat and I like it. I would like to know the history of Seaway boats and why they went out of business. I would also like to find some of the original specs such as fuel tank size, boat weight etc. Does anyone out there have any of knowledge of this boat and the company? I would like to find some of the original Sales Literature that would have been at the Dealer's showrooms. Did anyone buy the original molds and is still producing the boat under another name? Who was the original designer?
I realize that this is a lot to ask but these people built a nice boat.
Thanks.
