Ralph Stanley, a legendary wooden boatbuilder in Southwest Harbor, is retiring after building boats all of his life. The tradition will be continued by Ralph's son Richard. At 80, with heart issues, Ralph is reluctantly stepping away from his passion. Ten years ago, he received a lifetime award from the National Endowment for the Arts.
