Hurricane Island (p. 225 -226). When I was there in mid-July, there were no guest moorings, and I saw no one and no sign of activity in or around the buildings of the Outward Bound School. Perhaps the school has been abandoned.

I agree. We sailed out there three weeks ago and found a desolate island. No moorings (just streams of lobster buoys) and the island seemed desolate. if it hadn't been for the depth and poor holding ground we would have anchored. Instead, we turned back and headed out.
I will try to call the Rockland office and find out what the story is. I will report back with any news.
